Holiday Rental Penthouse Description |
“Laguna Beach” is a lovely resort with beautiful gardens, three swimming pools (open from 15th June to 15th September, Easter, Spring Bank and Half Terms), two tennis courts, two paddle tennis courts, gym, jacuzzi, and sauna. There is a pool bar in the largest pool and a second bar serving meals if you don’t want to get wet.
There is also a kiddies play area. From our lounge terrace we have lovely views over the gardens and of the sea. We also look out onto a large lake which is at the side of the development and is 50% leisure use and 50% wildlife and bird sanctuary. From the roof terrace we also get beautiful views of the Sierra Gador and Sierra Navada mountains. The beach is only 100 meters from “Laguna Beach”.
We are situated on the western edge of Almerimar which is a quiet golf and marina resort. We are about 4km from the Marina and golf course and so a car is recommended, but it is a lovely walk along the well lit, traffic free, promenade into the marina.
Almerimar is about 35km from Almeria Airport and 6km from El Ejido, which is our nearest town. A bus passes “Laguna Beach” on its way to and from El Ejido via the marina and from El Ejido busses go to Roquetas De Mar 18km and Almeria city 30km.
El Ejido has many large shops to suit all tastes plus a cinema and a theatre. There is also a large hospital. El Ejido, Roquetas de Mar, Aguadulce and Almeria city are all worth visiting especially the moorish castle in Almeria city.
