The Sierra View holiday apartment is located in the tranquil village of San Bartolomé just 5mins by car from the ancient town of Orihuela and within easy reach of both Alicante and Murcia (30 mins) with their international airports.
The two bedroom property sleeps four people (one double one twin) and is fully equipped for your every need. Air conditioning/heating is provided for your comfort. The kitchen has all the necessary modern appliances at your disposal, including washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave etc The village has a couple of nice bars and restaurants, a pharmacy and two supermarkets. Nearby Orihuela offers far more in the way of entertainment with its numerous restaurants, bars and shopping mall. Public transport is fairly restricted so a hire car is recommended to enjoy the many activities the area has to offer including -Beautiful sandy beaches of Guardamar (15mins car) -La Finca golf course (5mins) -Historic cities of Alicante, Murcia and Elx (30mins) -Cycling, walking through local orange groves -Mountain hiking in nearby Sierra Throughout the summer (June through August) the village has a fantastic municipal swimming pool just two minutes walk from the apartment. At around €2 you can come and go as you please throughout the day. The pool bar serves drinks and some light snacks and there are areas for sunbathing. Why not enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and enjoy spectacular views of the nearby mountains, the Sierra Callosa? In the evening you'll be treated to an amazing sunset! Throughout the day the terrace boasts a spacious area to relax and sunbathe in privacy. In August the village celebrates a lively fiesta with free entertainment such as dancing, live music and a procession. |
